The engine and drivetrain came from a donor Pontiac GTO and it appears the fitment was perfect in the Volvo engine bay.
Our twin disc clutch and lightweight flywheel were chosen for their proven durability, plus they are completely rebuildable. Drag racers like this feature since the wear and tear on clutches are quite extreme when compared to a road race or street application. Drivetrain shock from the starting line places a severe amount of stress on the drivetrain components. The all billet clutch construction and ceremetallic friction material help keep things together under high load scenarios.
