Featuring a 6.4L V8, this Scat Pack turns heads on the street and at the track. From the factory, the Hemi 6.4L models received 485 HP and 475 ft-lbs of torque. Although these numbers are good for most, adding the Whipple Supercharger was necessary. Now with 646 RWHP, weekends at the drag strip are more frequent. Under full boost, the big V8 puts our clutch to the test, yet still drives normal on the street. This is mainly due to the all billet construction and sprung hub clutch design. Off the shelf, our clutch kits are engineered to handle 1010 Ft-Lbs Torque at the Crank and 820-850 Ft-Lbs Torque at the Wheels.
Styling of the Scat Pack Challenger intimately reminds us of the classic muscle cars with pistol grip 4-speed shifters. Nice to see Dodge still use a 6-speed manual trans behind the modern Hemi. The extra gears help with better highway cruising speeds compared to the old clunky 4-speeds. #savethemanuals
The modern Hemi is a wicked powerplant, but with 656 rhwp its even more fun to daily drive. At the track, the BMR suspension and 1pc DSS Driveshaft help keep it going straight and reliable. Stainless Works Headers make the Whipple Supercharger breath better and give it a powerful exhaust note. A few other supporting mods are in place to make reliability and durability improved compared to the stock factory components. Overall, this is a well sorted Challenger for street or strip driving tasks.
