For the new 2018 Mustang GT twin disc clutch, a redesign was required as the components are different than the 2011-17 Mustang models. This clutch kit utilizes a special lightened aluminum flywheel compared to the steel units on previous models. Perfect for daily driver with bolt on mods, easy to drive on the street. Premium Organic material is more durable than the oem friction materials.

Expect the same light clutch feel along with high torque capacity the Mantic 9000 series is known for. The relatively low pedal effort design is only a 12-15% increase over the OE pedal feel. These kits offer up to 600 ft-lbs of torque capacity at the Crank, roughly 500 ft-lbs at the Wheels. NOTE: Capacity will vary with use and type of power adder being utilized, for larger HP vehicles use our ceremetallic friction materials.

The Mantic 9000 uses our unique Sprung Center with cushioned discs to create the perfect clutch for daily usage. This equates to more torque capacity and heat resistance while retaining excellent drivability. The Mantic 9000 series clutches are twin 9in discs which greatly reduces the MOI. This allows more power to the ground as well as quicker more precise shifts when compared to the heavier OE flywheels.
The Mantic signature red cover and components are machined from billet stock adding strength and durability. The clutch is modular in construction for ease of service and is completely rebuildable. SFI Certified for Drag Racing.
